Our Story
Established on June 18, 2022, in Howrah, West Bengal, Hath Baralei Oiikko was founded on the conviction that collective empathy and active solidarity can alleviate systemic poverty and hunger. Guided by a statutory mandate to secure basic human necessities while upholding human dignity, our journey began with localized community relief and swiftly expanded into impactful, year-round humanitarian programs. Over successive operational years, we have turned compassion into tangible grassroots action through our flagship "Hath Baralei Oiikko-R 1 Takar Thaliâ„¢" daily meal mission, seasonal Joldaan hydration kiosks, winter blanket distributions, and dedicated food drives for shelters and ashrams. By supporting more than a thousand vulnerable individuals each year- including distressed children, daily wage earners, destitute women, and abandoned elders, we continue to blend immediate nutritional relief with educational awareness and cultural inclusion to foster an empathetic, resilient, and self-reliant society.

Hath Baralei Oiikko-R 1 Takar Thaliâ„¢ (One Rupee Meal)
We provide full, nutritious meals to the underprivileged for a token amount of just one rupee. This initiative ensures daily nourishment for hospital patients' relatives and daily laborers while allowing them to maintain their human dignity.
Winter Blanket Distribution
During harsh winter months, our volunteers conduct targeted night drives to distribute thick, warm blankets to the most vulnerable populations. This provides immediate physical relief and shields impoverished street dwellers from plunging temperatures.
To combat intense summer heat, we operate dedicated street kiosks to distribute free, safe drinking water. This vital service prevents dehydration and heatstroke among pedestrians, commuters, and daily wage laborers working in punishing temperatures.
